Our the first day we spent some time at the NYC Public Library. An impressive building with some very interesting exhibits including the original Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Closed off the evening with drinks at the Marriott Marquis with a nice view of Times Square
Day two we went on a "Hamilton Pilgrimage" visiting some of historical sites including his home in NYC (only lived there two years before he was killed in a duel), he and his wife's grave, and Fraunce's Tavern. We started at the Harlem School for the Arts where Kathy and Karl's daughter worked. We were treated to a nice tour....a wonderful place with an excellent mission.
Finished off the day attending an amazing performance of Hamilton. It lived up to all of the hype, and then some!!!
No photos of Day 3....rain, MOMA Gift Shop (lines too long to get into the museum) and an early train home. I have photos of everyone sleeping on the train but in the interest of maintaining my marriage and friendship with the Czernys, they won't appear here.
