Grand Teton National Park

After Yellowstone we headed to Grand Teton National Park which is directly south. We just made it out of Yellowstone because the next day they closed that entrance due to wildfires. The Tetons are magnificent. One thing that makes them different from other ranges is that there are no "foothills" so it appears that they spring out from the ground, making the appear very majestic. There are captions on some of these photos.
A herd of elk as we left Yellowstone.
Wicked deja vu!
Our "go to" lunch. PB & J
Second day in the Tetons. A beautiful view from the Episcopal Chapel, the Snake River, a selfie with Candy's favorite place in the background, and photos from our dinner celebrating our birthdays, early.

Yes, cotton candy on top of the creme brûlée.
Happy early birthday to Candy, Nancy and me.
